It depends. Some Fundi Forum trainings are completely free. Others carry a small facilitation fee. We share the details ahead of each session. You’ll always know what to expect before you register.

Yes. Certificates go out after selected training sessions. You may also earn recognition as a trained installer within the Bio Tank Africa network. That credential builds real trust with customers. It’s the same trust our Fundi Forum graduates talk about in their own words.
Absolutely. Hardware owners are part of the same ecosystem as fundis and contractors. We actively encourage them to join. Many who’ve attended say the networking alone was worth it.
Yes, without question. The forum is built on inclusivity. Women in the trade are welcomed and encouraged to participate on equal footing.

Fundis trained here go on to install units across Nairobi and its environs and beyond, using the same standards taught at the forum.
Fundi Forums run regularly throughout the year. Schedules depend on county partnerships and regional demand. Special training sessions, roadshows, and county activations happen periodically too. Coverage spans multiple counties across Kenya, urban and rural, and it keeps expanding.
You have a few options. Fill out the online registration form. Contact your regional coordinator. Register through a partner hardware store. Or join an official Fundi Forum WhatsApp group. Once registered, you’ll get updates on schedules, venues, and requirements.
This kind of structured, hands-on training is exactly what the ILO recommends for upgrading informal apprenticeships into recognized, higher paying skill sets. That’s what the Fundi Forum is doing, county by county.
